Boy it is hard to come up with titles for these things!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
So yeah, just thought I would catch up with you...wow, the Lord is so faithful :) This weekend was a good one. I had two mennonite friends over and we were up till 3:30 am! YIKES! We had such a blessed time just spending time together...it was especially nice for me as it was the 1st time since...Christmas break! We had a ton of fun. We went to AppleBees and watched movies and ate a 1/2 gallon of icecream and then they came to church with me and then afterwards. Kar was asked to take Danielle, art, and Michaels family pics for their prayercard (you can find their website in my links) at Letchworth park so we went and did that. We also took some pics of us...here are some of them (Kar and Kris are sisters by the way):

Icecream while driving...don't tell my Mom Lol :)

A whole 1/2 gallon...gone! And it was worth every bit of weight we gained! LOL :)

Hmmm...do you think they will stick?

Me and Kar

A thorn between 2 roses....NOT! I love this picture :)

Goofing off...

Friends...Sisters-in-Christ...the older I get the more and more I grow to appreciate the many friends that the Lord has blessed me with. Not only are my friends there to goof off with me and have fun with they are also there to be serious with and to help me to grow closer to the Lord.
It makes me think what kind of friend am I? Am I a true friend in every since of the word? Do I point my friends to the Lord or to I help them away? That is a scary thought!
What kind of friend are you? Something to think about...
This is the Falls that we were standing in front of. Look at those Falls! How magnificent they are! And our God created them! He is so good...take time to praise Him for His goodness.
Blessings to you all!

The 1,001 Time

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
Have you ever read a verse(s) 1,000 times and then the 1,001 time the Lord just kind of hits you over the head with it so to speak? Well, that happened with me 2 days ago.
I had called the admissions office at BBC and was told that I will probably have to pay money to get in and so I was worried about that and then I was trying to get this blog updated and so I was trying to get that done. Anyway, I decided that night that I would start reading one chapter in the old testament and one in the new every night. MY plan was to read Genesis 1 and Matthew 1 and...yeah, I did not get past Genesis 1:1-2! HE had other plans!
I had been (as many of you know) just really struggling with going to the Lord with my problems 1st and not turning to other people. As I was reading Genesis 1:1-2

"1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters."

As I read it I started thinking about the fact that God has been around for forever and how He was the one that created everything and then I started looking up other verses and Isiah 42:5 really touched me:

"Thus says God the LORD,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
Who gives breath to the people on it,
And spirit to those who walk on it:"

Then I started thinking about the fact that I think that I have soooo many problems but instead of going to the Lord I try to "fix" them myself or try to get others to help me fix it and yet I do not turn to the only one who really can fix it...the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord has always been and always will be...why do I think taht my problems are "new" to Him? He was there before "new" was even thought of. Why do I not trust the Creator of the Heavens and the earth implicitely? Why is it so hard for me to give things over to His control when, in reality, He has been controlling it all since forever!
It is so neat to me...every single time something comes up where I am starting to doubt the Lord or starting to worry, the Lord just provides either through a letter, or a phone call, or a gift, encouragement and a reminder to keep trusting Him...
Trust Him!
Blessings to you all...

Life is a routine right now...

What do I mean by that? Well, things have really just fallen into a pattern! Basically consisting of school, tae-kwon do, school, tae-kwon do, church, school...do you get the impression that school is a huge part of my existence right now? LOL :)
Wow, through all the "boring" day-to-day life the Lord has really just been working and working away at me. Mainly in the whole guy department...have you ever just stopped and marveled at how far the Lord has brought you in an area of your life? I have just been marveling on how the Lord has just really helped me learn contentment. I wanted to share a letter that I got from a lady which really just encouraged me to continue to just wait on the Lord:

From me:
That is really neat how you are content were you are especially with getting married...i have really been struggling with that! Being content being single :) It can be really hard...especially with my friends having guys and me having no one. I sometimes wonder what in the world is wrong with me. Lately though i have been getting closer to the Lord and that is why I think that I don't have anyone. Who knows what is going to happen with college anyway!
I am going to BBC and I will be majoring in women's ministries. My dream is to build a house for abused girls...I am really excited and kinda scared about the whole change...the culture is so different down there and I don't want to get down there and then start the whole crushes on guys thing...i want to go to get closer to the Lord (don't get me wrong, a guy wouldn't hurt! lol) but I know myself...i get obsessed! lol :-) I am a "hopeless romantic" in the words of my best friend. How did you meet your fiance'? Did you ever feel the way I do...?
Hope you have a good day! Blessings!

Ps: the cruise sounds AWESOME!!!! lol :)

From her:
Hey girl, I TOTALLY know where you're coming from...all my friends are married and/or parents by now - ever heard the term "always a bridesmaid, never a bride?" My life's theme up until this point. :O) Plus is doesn't help when you're a little older and everyone feels like it's appropriate to ask you, "so when are YOU getting married?" That has to be the dumbest question in the history of mankind...

Anyway, I definitely felt lonely much of the time. It was hard to find solace in the fact that it wasn't God's timing for ME, because it felt unfair...why God allows some women to be older and loveless is a question that I will definitely ask upon entering heaven, but I chose to make the most of it and not be hindered by the fact that I was single because realistically, you will get married. You will meet someone amazing and have babies and be a mom, a wife, and all that good stuff...but not yet. If you believe that God has good things in store for you (and He always does), then you can be confident and trust that your desires to be loved are nothing more than an incredibly normal emotion instilled by God Himself.
I always tried to think of my future children. That might sound silly, but what do I want to teach them and encourage them to become, especially if I have daughters? My mother married at 18 and I saw some struggles and a lack of identity...I never wanted to be like that, so I fought through it and refused to marry anyone other than someone who is my absolute best friend. He is everything and more I ever wanted, and I always tell people that if I knew guys like him existed, I would wait til I was 40 to get married! He is most definitely worth the wait.
You and everything about you will drastically change as you mature and experience new things...when girls get married so young, it's almost like they're not allowed to change and develop into who God really made them to be. Change is a good thing, especially when maturity enters the picture - you might have a change of heart in what you want to do with your life, you might want to relocate, travel, or do something that does not confine you to one place. I know some women who always had a "dream" of going to Africa - when they found out I was going, there was some intense jealousy goin' on...it was crazy, but I didn't have a husband and kids like they did. Their dreams could've been obtained, they just got hindered by the little things. :O) Sorry for writing a novel, but I feel so strongly about young women possessing the confidence to be what God intended. I have no regrets going into this marriage. I've done what I wanted to do, I've educated myself culturally and educationally, and I know where I stand spiritually, and I'll tell you, it's different (better) then when I was 18. I thought I knew so much about life, but I really didn't know anything at all! I see your maturity already, and I believe it will develop into something unstoppable through the years, but don't be afraid to challenge yourself and don't settle. Ever! Realize that you only live once, so do everything you want to do, and the man that God has for you will do everything he wants/needs to do to prepare himself for being a husband/father, and when you intersect paths, it will be a rockin' experience. Who knows, maybe he will want to open a shelter too. :O)

P.S. - Erik and I met at a young adult service at my church. I work at a large church in Williamsville. I moved up this way for many reasons, one being that there were "no good guys left in Batavia." Upon meeting him at this church, I asked him where he was from..."Batavia." Unbelievable! Where was he all the years I was searching IN Batavia! God has a sense of humor...and it's all about the right timing. :O)"

God truly does have a sense of humor :) He is so faithful! Well, I have to go to tae-kwon do...I have posted some new links especially for girls so check it out! Blessings to you all...

Hey All!

So my brain has been on overload and that is my excuse for not updating in a while LOL :) No seriously, school has been crazy and life has been crazier! God is good though and it is such a relief to be able to turn to Him when I am at the bottom of me! He is AWESOME!
So, yes...God has really been doing a work in me personally and in things around me. He has really mean teaching me the big meaning of the little word trust :) It is so amazing though how He provides! Ever since I willingly told Him that I would trust Him to provide for BBC wouldn't you know it? He has! (Go figure!) Things like a box with clothes in the mail, a job teaching Tae-kwon do, being able to babysit for a wonderful family! He is so good and I am just in Awe of all that He has done!
Wow. I have just been going through a lot these past week. A lot of things to entrust to the Lord. School has been CRAZY and then I got really sick. I started having really bad coughing spells and then 2 days ago in class I could not breathe. I had also just found out that I have an enlarged thyroid. So, I went to the docter this morning and was sooo incredibly sick it was bad. But they gave me some medicene and the a nebulizer test (which is one of the most embarrasing things to me ever! I couldn't stop drooling ANYWAY! lol :)) Afterwards, I couldn't breathe and almost fainted and then I couldn't stop shaking but it was just a side affect of the medicine and I got over it. So my problem? I have a reaction to the acne medicine that I am on. The result? I have an inhaler and I have to stop acutane (my acne medicine).
Ok, about stopping the acutane...here is another area for me to just trust the Lord. See, all my life I have been extremely self-conscious about my looks. Particularly me acne. And now...well, I thought that it would be gone forever and I would not have to deal with it anymore. I have always struggled with maybe that being the reason that guys seem not to like me or whatever. BUT, as I sit here and think about it I realize that that is the devil's lie. I mean, that is what the world is throwing at me and other girls like me but, what we have to realize is that our beauty should not just come from the outside but from our spirit within. I realized that my outward "beauty" (lol) will fade and continue to fade the older I get. Girls, here is a challenge for you to really rebel against the worlds definition of beauty and start enhancing you inward beauty which is really what matters! I am doing this also...lets pray for eachother and please write me and tell me what you think. Blessings...

PS: Here is an amazing website that is just...been a great blessing to be in finding my true beauty in the Lord: http://www.teen-beauty-tips.com/

Katia and Sergei...

Hey all,
Do you love ice skating? I do! These past few days I have been watching alot of husband and wife team Sergei and Katia, russion skaters who won 2 world championships and 2 olympic gold medals. Sadly, in 1995, Sergei tragically died at the age of 28. Below is their story and I really recommend watching it...you won't be disappointed!

Part 11:

I don't know about you but I sobbed when I watched this beautiful story of love and devotion between 2 people. After I watched it I wrote in my prayer journal and I just would like to share with you what the Lord laid on my heart...:

Monday, February 4, 2008
Dear Heavenly Father,

Pls. help me to wait for my future husband faithfully. I watched a beautiful documentary on Sergei and Katia who were skaters then he tragically died in 1995. They fell in love and were married with a little girl named Daria. The love for each other was so evident...I just sobbed. I realized that marraige is not just going to bed together. Rather, it is living each day and enjoying every moment together. I think that is what touched me so about their story.
Lord, I know there is someone out there for me... pls. prepare me for him. I am not strong in my walk with You as much as I would like to be and, Lord I want to be in love with YOu 1st...

Ps: I am reading Pro. 31:10 talking about a wife having "noble character." Lord, mold me till I have a more noble character.

What does noble mean? That was the question that I pondered last night...I pray that the Lord will mold and shape me into a noble woman after His own heart and that He will prepare me for my love...
Blessings!

Typical Saturday Morning!

Hey all!
So, it has been a pretty typical Saturday at the Case household. We went to Tae-kwon Do this morning and then got back and have been just doing stuff around the house really. Jen is at a skating thing so...yeah...we are so boring! lol :)
Actually, I wanted to share with you all something that was totally not boring that I learned in my devos today...
I have been reading through a Voice of the Martyrs http://www.persecution.com/ and I was stuck by this quote:
"Spiritual maturity is not measured by a birth certificate. Chronological age has little to do with conviction. Rather, spiritual maturity is measured one day at a time. We measure our maturity by how well we daily apply our faith. Contrary to popular belief, spiritual maturity is not how much we know about the Bible, many people are very familar with the Bible, yet they remain strangers to spiritual maturity. Obediance to the Bible's commands is the mark of maturity. One question will help us know how well we are growing spiritually. We must ask ouselves each day, 'How much more do we look like Jesus today then we did yesterday?' Our answer is a true reflection of our growth."
"How much more do we look like Jesus today then we did yesterday?" That can be a scary question! I find myself wondering if I will ever be more like Christ...This is my challenge to you: Today are you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ than yesterday?
Blessings...

Praise the Lord! (PTL)

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there :) PTL I have finally gotten my act together and committed to putting Christ 1st and foremost in my life. It took me long enough but the Lord helped me to finally realize that I needed Him and I could only survive with Him...
Part of the commitment I made was to let go of certain temptations in my life that were pulling me away from Jesus. Some would think they were silly things but in truth they had all really began to effect me. Things like: fiction books, to much time spent on the internet, and then making the commitment to be in the Word each and everyday...making the commitment to MAKE time to be in the WOrd every single day no matter how busy I am.
Being in the Word everyday was the really inmportant thing that I wanted to focus on...
I want to be in Women's Ministries, in fact, that is what I am (as of right now) going to major in. I realized that I can not expect the Lord to allow me to minister to others in His name when I am really not living 100% for HIM. How will I or anyone be able to really council someone if we ourselves are not constently drawing from His Word and Prayer/Fellowship with Him. In the long run, it is really not possible! I did not make this commitment because I am legalistic or just trying to put on a show. GOd brought me to the end of myself and I realized (once again)that I am nothing without Him.
I was having my devos the day after I made this commitment and I found this really neat article of the Rebelution blog (which you can get to from my links section):

"Now it might seem confusing that we are telling you to not despise the day of small things, but also to avoid getting stuck there, and to keep going. We quote Jim Elliott saying, “Wherever you are — be there 100%” while also instructing you to pursue every open door. It could seem like we want everyone to “stay where they are” and “move” at the same time.

In reality our hope is that you would learn to throw yourselves 100% into the small things God has in front of you, but to not get so comfortable there that you miss the next thing, the bigger, better opportunities He brings your way when you keep your eyes open for them. We want you to be like someone who has been faithfully exercising, but is constantly looking for opportunities to use the strength that he or she has developed to serve others in a productive, real world situation.

One of our mother’s favorite sayings is the line, “Hustle while you wait.” She might tell us that after dinner when we are all sitting around waiting for dessert but the table hadn’t been cleared. She would get the dessert all served out but often wouldn’t bring it to the table until everything was completely cleared. ‘Hustle while you wait’ meant that something good we wanted depended on our quick and cheerful execution of a task immediately in front of us.

In a way, that is God’s command and promise to you today. Don’t despise the day of small things — do them with all your heart — and as you are faithful with that which is little He will put you over much. Keep moving, hustle while you wait, and the door of opportunity is sure to open to you. That is the kind of God we serve."

Isn't that great? So, my challenge to you today: Live 100% for the Lord...we only have a limited time here on earth, don't waste it. May God bless you all richly this day...

Great Article!

Changed from the Inside Out
by Max Lucado

When you believe in Christ, Christ works a miracle in you. You are permanently purified and empowered by God himself. The message of Jesus to the religious person is simple: It’s not what you do. It’s what I do. I have moved in. And in time you can say with Paul, “I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me” (Gal. 2:20).

If I’m born again, why do I fall so often?

Why did you fall so often after your first birth? Did you exit the womb wearing cross-trainers? Did you do the two-step on the day of your delivery? Of course not. And when you started to walk, you fell more than you stood. Should we expect anything different from our spiritual walk?

But I fall so often, I question my salvation. Again, we return to your first birth. Didn’t you stumble as you were learning to walk? And when you stumbled, did you question the validity of your physical birth? Did you, as a one-year-old fresh flopped on the floor, shake your head and think, I have fallen again. I must not be human?

Of course not. The stumbles of a toddler do not invalidate the act of birth. And the stumbles of a Christian do not annul his spiritual birth.

Do you understand what God has done? He has deposited a Christ seed in you. As it grows, you will change. It’s not that sin has no more presence in your life, but rather that sin has no more power over your life. Temptation will pester you, but temptation will not master you. What hope this brings!

Hear this. It’s not up to you! Within you abides a budding power. Trust him!

Think of it this way. Suppose you, for most of your life, have had a heart condition. Your frail pumper restricts your activities. Each morning at work when the healthy employees take the stairs, you wait for the elevator.

But then comes the transplant. A healthy heart is placed within you. After recovery, you return to work and encounter the flight of stairs—the same flight of stairs you earlier avoided. By habit, you start for the elevator. But then you remember. You aren’t the same person. You have a new heart. Within you dwells a new power.

Do you live like the old person or the new? Do you count yourself as having a new heart or old? You have a choice to make.

You might say, “I can’t climb stairs; I’m too weak.” Does your choice negate the presence of a new heart? Dismiss the work of the surgeon? No. Choosing the elevator would suggest only one fact—you haven’t learned to trust your new power.

It takes time. But at some point you’ve got to try those stairs. You’ve got to test the new ticker. You’ve got to experiment with the new you. For if you don’t, you will run out of steam.

Religious rule keeping can sap your strength. It’s endless. There is always another class to attend, Sabbath to obey, Ramadan to observe. No prison is as endless as the prison of perfection. Her inmates find work but never find peace. How could they? They never know when they are finished.

Christ, however, gifts you with a finished work. He fulfilled the law for you. Bid farewell to the burden of religion. Gone is the fear that having done everything, you might not have done enough. You climb the stairs, not by your strength, but his. God pledges to help those who stop trying to help themselves.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:6.) God will change you from the inside out.

"Trust"

“Trust”

I got accepted to Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA (BBC)! I am so incredibly excited! I got to visit the college and spent 2 nights in Carter Dorm L suite. It was really fun and everyone was so nice. Seriously, the only way at you could not make a friend is be staying holed up in your room with the door locked and not speak to anybody.
The campus itself is absolutely gorgeous. It was originally a monastery so the architecture is breathtaking. Plus, it is on a summit (Clarks Summit) so the whole valley just stretches around it. Absolutely gorgeous…
It is so neat how the Lord has been providing already. When I got back I kind of started to panic. I mean, not only does it cost $20,000 a year but that does not include actual living expenses. I was sitting on my bed just thinking and it was almost as thought God spoke to me. Just asking me if I could trust HIM to provide... So I had to make that choice.
That evening I gave a testimony of what the Lord had done in my life since I went on a trip to a mission’s conference in Michigan. One of the quotes I shared that night had to do with trust:
“If I can explain it…God didn’t do it.”
How true that is! That night I told everybody that I didn’t know how I was going to Get to BBC and how in and of myself I know I couldn’t but I knew my God could!
Once I made that commitment to trust Him no matter what happened things really started to happen!
This may sound so dumb but, one of the things I had been worried about getting was dress pants. Basically you have to wear them Monday-Friday to classes and chapel. After that you are allowed to change. Anyway, dress pants can be really expensive and I knew that I would need quite a few pairs. The day after giving my testimony and making that commitment Mom and I went shopping. I decided to just stop at the thrift store and see if they had happened to have any dress pants. Did they ever! I walked out with four pairs of dress pants, p.j.’s that were originally $17 and warm stockings for $17.30 total! Now is that God or what! I did not realize how much of it was really God until I went home. One pair of pants had the original tags still on them. I found the price tag and it turns out that that one pair of dress pants was originally $34.95. And I got all that other stuff for $17 dollars! Again:
“If I can explain it…God didn’t do it.”
The Lord has also provided a laptop for me which I needed desperately for school. It just goes to show how great our God is!
Even though it may seem a little tacky, I have that price tag on my dresser and every time (seriously) I have started to doubt God since He brings $34.95 to my mind as a reminder that He is my Provider. What a blessing to be the child of such a wonderful Heavenly Father! Praise His Holy Name!

Vacation Recap!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
I am really sorry that it has been so incredibly long since I have updated :( This vacation has been so incredibly crazy, wonderful, tiring, exhilirating, scary, and just a time of total trusting in Him (or at least trying too :-) ) So here is a recap:
Well, I went on a Missions conference trip to Michigan like 2 days after Christmas. We left on Thursday and returned on Saturday so I spent 16 hrs. in a stinking car over 3 days! In spite of that it was the most amazing experiance of my life. This is our whole group:

~1st Row: Tim Monger (the leader and organizer), Brian and Ethan Thompson (our group).
~2nd Row: Sarah Britton, Me, Stephanie (our group), Cynthia Nickols, Mrs. Nickols, and Dan Nickols (their family was the worship team).
~3rd Row: Brad (our group), Charlie Mack (Campus Crusades for Christ), Tyler (our group), I can't remember his name but he was really nice, Ashton Raduns (our group leader), Mr. Nickols (rest of the worship team).
~4th Row: Ron (missionary to Japan for 24 years), Bruce (a missionary), Jack (youth pastor and speaker for the general sessions), Brian (student), Big Ed (missionary), Katie Scarborough (my friend who I came with), Sarah Scarborough (Katie's sister), Nathen Radens (Ashtons husband and our leader).

In the 400 churches that were invited we were the only one that came. There were only 24 of us but what a slice of Heaven it was! I have never experianced the closeness and intimacy that we experianced with other Christians that I have never experianced ever. It was so wonderful and none of us wanted it to end :) I made some forever friends there and God really worked in me personally...

Besides us 5 girls (including Ashton) there were 2 other girls Sarah and Cynthia. We bonded so quickly it surprised all of us I think :) God was the focal point of our time there and I think that is what really made our relationships with eachother so deep. Here is a picture of us girls, what a group we were!:

On the left: Katy, Sarah, Cynthia, and Me
On the Right: Ashton, Stephanie, and Sarah

There were 2 Sarah's (yes same spelling) and 2 Katy's (Katie's) in a group of 6 girls! That was fun :-)

Another thing that God did was totally confirmed to me was BBC. As many of you know I had been considering transfering there in the fall of '08 and had even gone so far as to put in my application for review. During the conference that is what was going on. GET THIS! In the 14 other people that werer there 4 of them where a family. Mr. and Mrs. Nickols, Dan and Cynthia. Dan is currently going to BBC and Cynthia was already accepted there for the fall of '08! How amazing and what an amazingly awesome miracle that was :-)
Me and Cynthia (pictured below) got really close especially when we realized how alike we were and that we both wanted to go to BBC. That was a definate God-thing!

So, after weeks of waiting and wondering and stressing I got THE CALL...Dun, dun, dun...I AM GOING TO BBC IN FALL '08!!!!! I got ACCEPTED :) I am so excited :-) God is so good!! I am going to visit this upcoming weekend and am kind of nervous but I think I will enjoy it. :-)

So what else have I been up to? Well, spending time with my friends and family. Elisha and Valerie are home so it has been really nice :-) Here are some pics we took together:

I will continue this later I have to go... Blessings!

Kiss the Girl!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
For a late wedding present for my best friends brother and his wife we made them a music video. I think it turned out really well. I hope you agree! This is the unfinished version (it lacks the actual kiss! lol) but I will be getting the finished version. I've included Ashley Tisdale's version too. Enjoy:

LOL :) Hope you enjoued them!

Major Catch-up is needed!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there! I am so sorry that I haven't written in a while. School has been crazy! But, thankfully, today is my last day! I have a math exam and then I am done until the 22nd of January! YES!!!!! I am so excited to be on vacation! :) Some crazy stuff has been happening...I had a really bad day and the Lord used it to help me make the decision to transfer out of GCC after I complete this year. Why? Well, basically, I thought when I started going to GCC that my walk with the Lord was much stronger. I have found out that it isn't as strong as I 1st thought it was...so I started to look into Baptist Bible College in PA. I had wanted to go to BBC since I was in 10th grade. I figured that I would just go for 2 years and get a strong foundation in my walk with the Lord. I talked to Mom about it and she was like: "Katy, God will have to provide the money 'cause we can not pay for it." BBC costs about 20,000 dollars a year. I went on the website and just "happened" to click on a financial aid link. I was thinking I could get scholorships and work my way through. Well, imagine my surprise when I realized that BBC accepts FAFSA an PELL which is how I am getting through GCC! I could not believe it! And then, an admissions counsilor told me that because I am a Pastor's daughter I would get 25% off the tuition. WOW! I was shocked! :) So I sent in my application and as of now I am just waiting for GCC to send them my transcripts and then with in a few weeks I should know whether or not I am accepted. I am sooo excited and terrified that I won't be but, I know that if this is where God wants me HE and only HE will get me there! SO yeah, pls pray that His will will be done. I would really appreciate it!
So what else has been going on? Hmmmm...I have been having a really hard time in my walk with Jesus lately...alot of old temptations and stuff that I thought I had conquered have reared their ugly heads yet again...Sometimes I look at myself and wonder who I am anymore...pls. pray for me.
I am going to Michigan on a missions conference with Oakfield Country Chapel. I am so excited as some really good friends of mine are coming and I get to spend a lot of time with them :) I will be gone the 27th-29th of December...
Christmas is one week away! I can not believe it. Danny found his gift... :( I got him the dvd: Meet the Robinsons and he accidently found it! :( It wasn't his fault though :)

WOW.

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there...
So what has the Lord been doing in your life lately? It has been kinda hard lately for me...it seems that no matter how hard I try. No matter what I do, I always fail. God is so faithful but still sometimes I just go to bed wishing I could do the whole day over again.
So I am really getting excited about my missions conferance thing in Michigan. I really hope that my spiritual life will get another how do you say it... a refresher! I am really looking forward to it! Anyhow, write me all (if you know my email LOL) I gotta go and eat dinner at my grandma's! Blessings to you all.

What a weekend!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
So this weekend was a trip :) On Friday we had Abby's surprise 16th b-day party a month early. Here are some pics:

Abby was sooo surprised :) She was speechless it was so cute. She had no clue whatsoever.

All of us singing to her. We yelled surprise when she came in and then sang 2 rousing versions of "Happy Birthday".

Left to Right seated: Timmy,Eric,Jackie, and Jaclyn. Jenny is standing up.

This is Danny's friend Elise. She just got gloriouly saved last Friday. She is such a sweetheart and it was so much fun to have her at our youth group.

Abby, Jaclyne, and Alex: Abby got this neat dog thing from Alex and she had to fill out this paper thing. So that is what they are doing.

Jenny and Emily showing off their 30 hour famine shirts...looks kinda shady huh :) LOL!

Just hangin' cause that is what we are good at :)

Ok, so we did a lot of eating and hanging out I guess. We love to talk :)

Ok and onto gifts! :) I think this pic. is so cute :)

Anyhow I have some more pics. but I can't get them to load so yeah I will get them as soon as I can! :) If you want to wish her a Happy Birthday then just go to her blog which is in my links section.

Research Paper...Awesome Topic!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
I have started gathering information for my ASL research paper. My topic is how being deaf does not mean that you are disabled. Here are just a few videos of some really neat people that are deaf yet haven't let that stand in their way. They are the Deaf people who believe that the only thing that deaf people can not do that hearing people can do is...HEAR! They are just as good as us and here are a few examples:

Christy Smith:

Brent Pinch:

Deanne Bray:

Enjoy and I will post later. Blessings to you all! :)

RIT Here I come!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
So I had an amazing day today! Sarah (K) and I went to an open house up at RIT in Rochester. Wow, talk about yeah...it was amazing and yeah kinda scary too. But you know what I am so confident that this is what the Lord has for me right now at this time. I believe that He has placed me here for such a time as this.
As you all know I have been having a really hard time in my relationship with Jesus and just not content blah blah blah....pls still pray but just to let you know God is doing some amazing stuff.
Last night us three girls ended up going to the B's youth group. It had been a hard day especially for Jenny because it was the 4th anniversary of Mrs. millers death. So, Mrs. B invited us to just hang out at youth group with the girls. The age group was 5th-7th grade. None of us have ever seen God work in such mighty ways! WOW!!!! 3 girls were gloriously saved, one girl recommitted her heart to Christ, and another is so close to Jesus. WoW! You have to remember that these girls are the lowest of the low most of them...they are the "bad kids" the ones with "reputations" yet, God has just been transforming lives. It was amazing and us kids are going to start going just to spend time with and be a positive influence on these kids. I am so excited. God is sooooo good :) Blessings to you all!

WHEW! Major Catch-up to do! :)

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
So yeah, I am so sorry that I haven't been faithful in writing lately. School has me busy and life in general is crazy.
I have been having a hard time trusting Jesus lately...I have been really lonely too. I mean I have friends at college but they aren't GOOD friends...I have been feeling left behind, alone, and forgotten by God. Well, God is working on the feeling like He has forgotten me. A lot of people are praying for me and I have been having some really good devotional times.
I just wanted to share this entry in my prayer journal with you:

Wednesday, October 31, 2007

Dear Heavenly Father,

My heart is just flowing over in praise and adoration and thanksgiving towards You Lord. Yesterday was not a good day. I was hurt, confused, discontent, and (I am sad to say) even angry at You. I felt like You had abandoned me, didn't hear me, and really didn't care to hear me. I was so discontent to be here and I wanted so badly to GET OUT!
I had a long talk with Mom about it. And she told me to start putting my devotions at the start of the day instead of 2 minuetes crammed in the end. She said it would put a whole new perspective to my day. So I did. And what do you know? My devos for the day answered all the questions, doubts, and fears that I had yesterday. I am going to copy it down. It is from the book "My Utmost for His hightest journal" by Oswald Chambers; (It is dated for today Wednesday, October 31, 2007.)

October 31st.

DISCERNMENT OF FAITH

"Faith as a grain of mustard seed. . ." Matthew 17:20

We have the idea that God rewards us for our faith, it may be so in the initial stages; but we do not earn anything by faith, faith brings us into right relationship with God and gives God His opportunity. God has frequently to knock the bottom board out of your experience if you are a saint in order to get you into contact with Himself. God wants you to understand that it is a life of faith, not a life of sentimental enjoyment of His blessings. Your earlier life of faith was narrow and intense, settled around a little sun-spot of experience that had as much of sense as of faith in it, full of light and sweetness; then God withdrew His conscious blessings in order to teach you to walk by faith. You are worth far more to Him now than you were in your days of conscious delight and thrilling testimony.

Faith by its very nature must be tried, and the real trial of faith is not that we find it difficult to trust God, but that God's character has to be cleared in our own minds. Faith in its actual working out has to go through spells of unsyllabled isolation. Never confound the trial of faith with the ordinary discipline of life, much that we call the trial of faith is the inevitable result of being alive. Faith in the Bible is faith in God against everything that contradicts Him - I will remain true to God's character whatever He may do. "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him" - this is the most sublime utterance of faith in the whole of the Bible.

Ok, so yesterday was horrible but today is the last day in a month and is yet another start of a chapter in my journey of faith with You Jesus. Thank You so much Lord and I love You with all my heart. Pls. help me to just continue to walk by faith not by sight. I love You Lord. In Jesus name, Amen

So that was that day and the Lord really did help me. Well, then the night came and I was upset a gain but a lady prayed for me.
Well, this morning I checked my email and there was an email from one of my mentors had wrote me back. I had written her telling her all that had been going on. One of the lines was "just let go" so I wrote a song to Jesus just reafirming that I was resting in Him. Here it is:

"Rest"
Isiah 40:27-31

Lord I am so tired
of trying to walk the walk
I've tried so hard
Lord I am ready to give up
I know that I can change
but I just can't find a way
Lord I am so tired

(Chorus)
Rest in Me
I won't let you down
You just have to learn
to let go
We walk by faith
and not by sight
Oh my child it's gonna be alright.

Here I go again
I've goofed it up once more
but there's a difference I don't think
I can fix what's been torn
God I am Your child
But it just doesn't seem
like I'm living like a daughter of the King
God I'm empty now
can't You show me how
God, I'm tired

(Chorus)
Rest in Me
I won't let you down
You just have to learn
to let go
We walk by faith
and not by sight
Oh my child it's gonna be alright.

Jesus never said a
life lived for Him would be easy
But oh He promised to be with
us every step of the way.
Why can't we trust Him in the darkest days and deepest nights
When it seems so bleak...
God, I'm so tired
And He says:

(Chorus)
Rest in Me
I won't let you down
You just have to learn
to let go
We walk by faith
and not by sight
Oh my child it's gonna be alright.

Oh My child it's gonna be alright.

So yeah, that is what has been going on. Pls still pray hard for me. I would really appreciate it. God is so good though! He is so faithful! Blessings to you all!

The new me!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
1st of all I want to thank you all so very much for praying for me. I was really stressed about school next semester cause I thought that I would have to be there 5 days a week. A family had graciously offered to let me live with them but I still didn't really want to be away from home and my life here. So, Tuesday I had a meeting with my counselor and now all my classes are in warsaw except for my ASL 2 class which is in batavia on wednesday nights. Also I will only have school on Mondays and Wednesdays! What a blessing and answer to prayer!
So, for my graduation/birthday present Grandma Kelley to me on a shopping spree to Fashion BUg yesterday. That was a lot of fun. When we were done we had to go to walmart and I had some money left. See, I had gotten these new clothes and I was like "I want a new me!" So I got my hair cut at walmart for 13.50 and I love it! Here are some pics so check it out!

Dizzaly busy!

Hey all!
Yeah, It is getting pretty hectic. I no longer have a car either. It is dead. But I am just trusting the Lord to provide. He has proven Himself to be faithful to me over and over again. He is good!
Here is an article that I wrote and just submitted to Guideposts. Pls. pray that it is accepted...

“Does God have a reason?”

My question to you is this: Does God really have a reason for when things go wrong?
My Mom has epilepsy. In other words, she has seizures. Watching my Mom have seizures was one of the worst things my siblings, Dad, and I ever had to go through. Because we normally do not have any idea when or where seizures will occur, many of my childhood days where filled with “What if?”
I remember being in a grocery store. My Dad and younger sister were on a “date”. Dad takes each one of us kids out once a month to spend time together. Mom had my two other siblings and me with her. I was probably only five years old. I remember going down an aisle when a lady asked Mom if she would like some coupons. Mom thanked her, and they began to chat. One moment they were just having a normal conversation and the next Mom was on the floor, bleeding. I remember sobbing as I hid behind the cart. They called the ambulance and then they took Mom away. I felt so helpless and alone, but there was nothing anyone could do to help. I still shudder when I go down that aisle.
Mom did have medicine but sometimes it did not work. One summer she had five seizures within two months, and that is very unusual. Every time she woke up, however, the first words out of her mouth were, “Thank You Jesus.” Inside I would think, Why, why thank Him?
The last seizure Mom ever had was nothing compared to the previous ones. It was Mother’s Day, and we had family over. We had just sat down to eat when I looked over at Mom and realized that she was having a seizure. I yelled. Dad and my uncles jumped up to help her and then started to move her to a bed. I was in the living room just settling down to have a good cry when all of the sudden, Mom woke up. This was unusual because of the type of seizures she had. Normally when Mom woke up, she would be very tired and unable to move.
After that, Mom decided to go to a different doctor. He gave her some new medicine, and she has not had a seizure since. We believe God healed her. Still, in the back of my mind, I always wondered, why?
In the summer of 2006 I was given the opportunity to serve as a counselor in training at a small Christian camp in Bliss, New York. During the second week, a junior week for kids ages eight to eleven, I was asked to lead the nightly Bible study. My topic was how God protects us even at a young age, so He can use us later in life for His purposes. After the girls had somewhat settled down, I began to share with them this story about my mother and me.
When I was a newborn baby my mother would always make sure Dad was in the same room when she gave me a bath. This was just in case she had a seizure. One day she decided to give me one while he was in bed napping. For some odd reason she changed her mind and decided that we would take a nap instead with Dad. She had a seizure while in bed. When she awoke, she realized what had happened. If she had given me a bath as planned I would have drowned. But I did not drown because God had a purpose for me. He did not allow Mom to give me a bath as she had planned because He was saving me for something bigger.
As I was telling the story, one of my campers unexpectedly started to sob. The other counselor took her outside of the cabin while I continued my Bible study. However, I could not get over the fact that she had begun to cry when I mentioned seizures. Just as I was wrapping up my devotional, they came back. We prayed and then I went over to her bunk. I can not convey the depth of emotion that went through me as I knelt by her bunk and talked to her. As she cried, I felt again the uncertainties, the terror, and the hurt; except this time it was not me but another little girl who was hurting. I found out later that her little sister had died because of a seizure by suffocating in her pillow.
I went out onto the porch after I had calmed and prayed with her. Then the tears began to flow, not because I was sad, although that emotion was present, but because my question of Why had been answered. God knew what that little girl needed. She needed not only sympathy but someone that could truly empathize with her because I had truly been there. She needed someone who knew.
To answer the question, “Does God really have a reason for when things go wrong?” The answer is an emphatic yes. Sometimes He allows us to experience something so that later on we can help another person going through the exact same thing. He has a purpose for every single thing that happens to each of us. We must trust Him to fulfill that purpose in His time. It is something to consider.
“Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” (Psalm 62:8).

It took a long time to write that but it just goes to show you just how faithful Jesus is...Do you have a relationship ,not knowledge, with Him? It is such a joy to be a Princess in the Kingdom of Heaven. If you have questions call or email me. Love to you all!

An amazing Sunday...

Hey all!
I am going to share with you a portion out of my prayer journal. God is so good and I just want to testify to that! So here it is Sunday, September 23, 2007:

~Dear Heavenly Father,
Wow! I have been reading through "When God Writes Your Love Story" for my devotions and the chapter today was centered on making You the center of our life (love and other). There are some quotes in there about giving God your all by Oswald Chambers:

"Tell God you are ready to be offered, and God will prove Himself to be all you ever dreamed He would be."
"The reason some of us are such poor specimans of Christianity is because we have no Almighty Christ. We have Christian attributes and experiances, but there is no abandonment to Christ."
"In our abandonment we give ourselves over to God just as God gave Himself for us, without any calculations. The consequences of abandonment never enters into our outlook because our life is taken up with Him."

I love those quotes just because after last night (Momentom 2007)I truly believe that is what God has for me. Or no, He has always had that for me but now I truly believe that I am ready to finally give it all to Jesus. In Genesis 22 is the story of how Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son. To the point of picking up the knife...then God stopped Him. It was a test to see just how far and deep Abraham's commentment went. Abraham was willing to sacrifice everything. When he heard God's voice he did not ask questions but immediately did it.
Lord, today I am asking You to help me develope that kind of abandonment to You. Lord, when You speak help me to discern it and obey.
Father, I pray for the church service today. I have never really done this before but I pray that you will come down in POWER Father. Last night I was talking to ----- saying how there was going to be no one in church because the ------ aren't there but thats ok because I am used to it. That is so wrong! 1st, I beg Your forgiveness for that kind of attitude Lord. Sadly that has really always been my attitude towards Church and this morning You have just opened my eyes to that Lord. Father, I have been going for the people but no more Lord! I pray that today You would speach to me. Convict me of sin. Help me to pay attention and to grow in You. I want You to be the CENTER of my life Lord. I invite You to be that center. I love You Lord. In Jesus precious name, Amen.!~

So yeah, I went to church with a whole new attitude and wow! What a difference it made :) God is so good. And so merciful, yeah, I made mistakes but God forgives and today is a new day! I love this idea of instead of trying to build God into your busy life but build your life AROUND God with Him as the CENTER. It is radical but it will change your life! Blessings to you all :)

Whoa...Momentom 2007

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
Whoa...that is all I can say! God is so good! Amen? I have just gotten home from a God-anointed event called Momentom 2007. WOW! It is a cowboy event and featured the glory riders. God has been doing some amazing stuff and through the seeds that were planted He will continue to.
I was so blessed my a lady that I met there. Here name was Sue and it never ceases to amaze me how when you talk to someone that you have just met that is a sister/brother in the Lord it is like you have known them forever. She just really encouraged jenny and I in our walks with the Lord. Also, she really opened my eyes to the fact that I need to just be patient in the Lord. It was so neat just sharing with her all that the Lord had been teaching me. She had this really good point that she shared with me concerning my future husband. She said "Your husband is on the other side of those trees. Now, ask the Lord to set your feet on the path towards that. Ask Him to prepare you and just walk that path trusting HIM." WOW! I needed that. During the worship service I did that. I surrendered myself to the Lord's service right here where I am and just repented for my discontentment and distrust in Him. What a blessing. What a freedom! I have been rechallenged in my faith with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Has that happened to you lately? Ask God to challenge you in your relationship with HIM. He will and you will be so blessed my it! God bless you!
Ps: I got my celly! :)
Also, in the links is the Glory Riders website.

Here is a music video! Sorry, I just love this kind of thing :) I am such an incurable romantic!

I guess one of the reasons I love this so much is it inspires me even more to wait patiently for my one true love! God bless!

School alert! Wow I am so pooped :)

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
Here I am at school once again (hey that sounds like a song!). What a week, well, two weeks. Ever since school started. Just for the record, I love it! God has really been doing a work in me. It is so neat to see how He is working in my heart changing me and making me more like Him. He is so good to me! He really has just convicted me of alot of stuff that I have been...yeah...that hurt! But is is merciful and forgiving! Every single time that happens it feels like just a new fresh start when it is over (the process of getting clean again).
So yeah,I have been crazy busy with school. Today I am not getting home till like 6:30! I love all my classes. ASL is so much fun. Today I am meeting with people at Timmy's (Tim Hortens) for signing. I am so cyched! God has really just been pulling everything together! He is good! So, how are your lives going? You know my email. Byes!

The Ranch!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
So things have been so incredibly bussy lately. Between the ranch, school, and other stuff it is like I have never stopped moving! So, let me update you on a few things...
Danny's at his 2nd day of school and he LOVES it! We were all so worried for him. Thank you so much for your many prayers! God is so good. Pls. pray that he will continue to love it. He had like 20 people come up to him and ask him if he was going to play basketball, wrestle, play baseball, and other sports. They really wanted him too because he is so tall! Go figure! :)
School is going really great for me. It can get stressful but the Lord is so good. I must say though that if Megan weren't here I would probably curl up in a ball and die! I was really upset and stressed last night just because all our friends are gone it seems...it can be hard being "left behind". Anyway, I was really tired (did I mention that) so Mom made me go to bed at 9:30 and it was WONDERFUL! I got up early and felt so refreshed. Much better than staying up till like 12 and sleeping in till 9 or 10! This morning Mom, Jenny, and I went to the ranch. I rode Amanda and Jenny rode Sam (the horse she is leasing so she can ride him anytime she wants to). It was just the 2 of us and we had so much fun! I am starting to be able to keep my seat even at a lope! Mom took videos and I will post them as soon as I can.
I might be getting a job at the YMCA! For an afterschool program. Pls. pray that it will all work out with my school hours and everything...
ASL is going awesome! I am LOVING it. Each class gets better. Today Megan and I talked to Nick one of the instructers after class. He was able to give me some pointers. We are going to meet on Wednesdays (hopefully) to start getting experianced outside of class. I am so excited!
Well, God bless and you all have a wonderful afternoon! Love to you all!

College life...

I'M LOVIN' IT!
God is sooooo good! So many people where praying for me and I could really feel those prayers. I cann't even express what a peace I have about where I am. One of my professers is a christian! He was my Dad's english teacher in 9th grade! Me and Megan stayed and talked after with him for 1/2 an hour. A boy from CCA is in 2 of my classes. It was neat to see a familier face! So all in all I am so content!
Pls. pray for Elisha. She, her mom, and valerie left for Florida today. Pls. pray that she will love college and not be too homesick. Love you all! Me

Briar Creek Ranch

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there! I have added another link to my link list! It is to Briar Creek Ranches new website! Danny created it and we are really excited about it! So, check it out!
Also this whole week I am going to be at Caledonia fair (with the ranch) so you probably won't hear much from me! But that is where I am! God bless!

Life is PRECIOUS...

...and Friday gave me a new relization just how precious it is. It was a normal day. Dad had left for Mexico and Mom, Danny, and I had decided to go to Perry for some errands. The library was having a book sale so we decided to stop there. We browsed and then decided to go to the B's house just to visit. In Perry there is a horrible 5 way intersection. This is complicated by an arrowmart. I was going straight. To my right there was a street w/o a stop sign. The only problem is that you cannot see unless you are pretty much out to the middle of the intersection because there is a bush and hill and it is at a really bad angle. Well, I got up to the stop sign and sat there for like 2 minutes 'cause it was really busy. It cleared and I decided to go...all the sudden there was this red truck right in front of me. You know how everyone says "Oh you have time!" You don't! It was like time froze and I knew we were going to hit and I also knew there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. We hit. Thankfully I was going slow. I hit broadside the drivers side. God was so merciful! The guy was able to get out of his door easily. The van...the whole right headlight is gone! But, the left one which we just spent alot of money on to get fixed is unharmed. The bumper was ripped almost ripped off...but it took most of the damage and there is minimal damage to the van itself. God is good! The people that I ran into could have been really mean about it but they weren't...they were some of the nicest people I have ever met. We even got to witness to them and the 2 girls I knew from youth group...GOD IS GOOD!
Pls. do pray for me though...I haven't driven yet and ever since then everytime I am riding w/someone and we come to a stop sign I get really scared inside. I also have been having bad dreams. And tomorrow I have to drive for the 1st time since and I am kinda uptight about that. But, GOD IS GOOD! I mean, the air bag didn't even go off! We could have died. In fact, I know someone who died that way except the kid ran the stop sign. God is soooo Good!
So, here is my question to you? Have you thought about how precious life is lately? Have you taken the time to tell people you love and care about them? Have you thanked Jesus for allowing you to have lived another day? Something to think about!
God bless!

I'mmmm Back!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
I am sooo sorry i haven't had a chance to write in a while! I have been one busy girl! Ever since I got my liscense especially. But, I don't mind!
So...that last post? Well, God puts things in our lives and then He can always promptly take them back out! I do not have a car anymore :( We had to junk it. But, I have decided not to worry! God "proved" Himself to me by the fact that He got me a car before I even had a liscense! I think that because of that I have no excuse to doubt Him :)
So what have I been up to?
~ Tae-kwon do (I am still working on the pics! SORRY!)
~ Long trip with Olivia's family that included: Ocean, NYC, Black bears, Franklin Graham Festival, God just totally working in the college area! Father's day gift! Work at Briar Creek Ranch (I am the photographer) and running Mom on little trips!

It has been so incredibly busy but soooo wonderful! God is so good and I just praise Him! Love to you all! Me

This 1st video is an awesome music video about Sue and Jack...Ahhhh! I thought is was wonderfully put together!

This is a Deanne Bray interview (she plays Sue Thomas). I thought it was neat!

The Last Sin Eater

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
It isn't often that you find an amazing movie out there that is Christian. Well, Our family just watched "The Last Sin Eater" which is based on a book by Fransine Rivers. We were truly amazed at how true it was to the book and how the gospel was presented.
You may be asking "What on earth is a sin eater?" Well, in the Wales people would cast lots and the man who was chosen would go and live in exile for the rest of his days. The reason being was that when some one died they would put wine and bread on the body and the the sin eater would come and eat his sins. They believed that he would go to hell and save the person. People really did this! It is so sad.
Anyway, I highly recommend this movie and the book. It is PG-13 because of some violence and I would not recommend little ones watching it. Here is the trailer:

YAYYYY!!!

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
I am so excited! Can you tell :) God has been doing some AMAZING things since the last time I wrote. I have a CAR!!!! And I passed my drivers test so I have a liscense!!!!! And just to think that 2 weeks ago I was going "God, what is going on? I need a car and liscense I just don't know how it is going to happen." And then it happened! Praise the Lord! I will post some pics.
Also, tonight we Case kids are testing for our GREEN belt in tae kwon do! It is going to probably the hardest class that we have ever had to do!

The Big Debate...Christians against aetheists.

Millions Will Hear
Just a quick note to let you know that the debate went wonderfully.

When I say "wonderfully," I have to qualify it. It was like an open air with an unreasonable and loud heckler. The "heckler" in this case wasn't just the two atheists we were there to debate, but the fifty atheists in the audience. As per ABC's stipulations, the audience was composed half-and-half -- fifty Christians and fifty atheists. The Christians were very quiet and polite -- the atheists weren't. It was very apparant who was who in the audience. It seemed that no matter what we said, it was completely ignored by Brian and Kelly (the atheists) and then followed up with their anger, mockery, and insults. But as with a good open air, the heckler is simply a platform to speak to the crowd who is listening. In this case there is a crowd of millions who will hear clear, concise evidence for the existance of God. How incredible. So I am delighted, because of what we were able to say.

Below is the press release and the information you need to watch the debate Wednesday. Thanks for your prayers.

God bless,
Ray Comfort

A 100-year-old Baptist church in the heart of New York was the venue Saturday for an ABC debate on the existence of God. Actor Kirk Cameron and best-selling author Ray Comfort "faced off" against two atheists from the "Rational Response Squad," in a debate moderated by ABC Nightline's Martin Bashir.

"We were delighted ABC gave us the opportunity to present our case," said Comfort, "but we were taken aback by the aggressive nature of the debate. The audience was evenly divided between believers and atheists. The believers were very polite and quiet, while the atheists were extremely vocal. 'Nasty' is an appropriate word. We felt life a couple of goldfish in a pool of hungry Piranhas, and were getting a sense of what the early Christians must have felt in a Roman coliseum."

In the debate, Comfort presented proof for the existence of God, while Cameron offered evidence to show that the theory of Darwinian evolution is unreasonable and unscientific. They pointed evolutionists to www.IntelligentDesignVersusEvolution.com, where they're offering $10,000 to anyone who can provide a genuine, living transitional form supporting evolutionary claims. The debate also addressed such questions as "Who made God?" and "What about the heathen in Africa who've never heard about God?"

"The atheists made it very clear they didn't like what we said," Cameron explained. "They were full of mockery and sarcasm, belittling the many great scientists and intellectuals who recognize the existence of a Supreme Being. But the average American isn't viciously anti-God. In fact, polls show that more than 90 percent believe in His existence. Our hope is that the program will cause people to think deeply about the evidence presented, and challenge them to consider this most important issue of life."

While Comfort and Cameron will have to wait until Wednesday to see what the public thinks of the debate, they report that they've already received encouraging email from one audience member who commended their presentation: "Good job last night! Although I received my invitation to the show via the atheist camp, I must confess that I was impressed with the two of you (and that I was embarrassed by at least two atheist audience members, whose hostile questions bordered on heckling--I admired your calm and courteous responses). ...I find the 'Design means there was a Designer' argument to be perfectly logical. I just have yet to come across convincing evidence that this Master Designer of the Universe inspired the Judeo-Christian Bible.'"

Another encouragement, Comfort added, was that both mothers of the two atheists in the debate are Christians--one of whom was in the front row of the audience. Comfort stated, "Both sincerely thanked us for our stand, and said that they were earnestly praying for us."

The entire debate will be streamed Wednesday, May 9, at 1:00 p.m. EDT ( 10:00 a.m. PST) on http://abcnews.go.com/nightline/, then again at 2:00 p.m. EDT (11:00 a.m. PST) on http://abcnews.go.com/abcnewsnow/, and an excerpt will be aired that night on ABC's Nightline.

We will have the debate available for viewing online from our video sharing accounts. The videos will be available for viewing after ABC streams it live on their website Wednesday, May 9. You can visit the following link to find the video
when it is available. Keep checking after ABC streams it live.
