Hey all you fellow bloggers out there!
Last night was a very interesting night at work. Every day we have open swims and family swims. Basically, it is when families and teens come in and swim along with some older people. In order to get into the pool you have to take a shower and then when you get out of the pool you have to take a shower. In the ladies locker room the lockers are right as you come in and then you walk through and there is the bathroom stalls, sinks, and then right across from the sinks is this like vanity almost with 2 hair dryers for the ladies to use after showering.
Last night ,while an open swim was going on,I was sitting at the front desk talking to Joan and this member comes up to us with some disturbing news.
She had gone back to the ladies locker room and the lights were off. Now there are 2 entrances/exits in the ladies locker room: one going into the pool right off the showers and then one coming in from the actual ymca. There is one set of light switches and those are by the door that comes off the actual ymca. She said that she thought it was a little weird the lights were off so she kinda called out to see if anyone was in there. She didn't get an answer so she turned on the lights and walked in to find one of the hair-dryers on the floor going full blast and right across from that (like probably a little over 4 feet away) someone and completely stopped up the sinks and left the water going full blast and the sinks were full to almost overflowing. So she turned of everything and put the hair dryer up and then went out and told us. Anyway, so some other stuff happened and the police came and we really don't have any clue who did it but it made me think...
What if she hadn't gone into that locker room and those sinks had overflowed? What would have happened when the open swim was over and those families and kids and older ladies had come back in. In order to turn on the lights they would have had to walk directly through that water...what if, what if, what if...
Praise the Lord for His perfect timing! If that lady had come in even 20 minutes later who knows what could have happened. Our God is so faithful!
So yeah, have you taken time to thank Him for all the little things He does for us each and everyday? He is so faithful!
Blessings to you all :)
