1st time ever!

1st time for alot of things... I voted today! It took like 2 seconds to flip all those little lever things... I also went to the foot specialist (who was very personable) and came away with this: It's official name is "Walking Cast". Yeah, and no it can not be forced to look any more fashionable in any way! Hey it is a good thing I am not too into looking fashionable :-p Actually it really is a blessing because I can go back to work AND I can now walk! WITHOUT crutches! that is very nice let me tell you. I am going to have it for 3 weeks and then it is back to the specialist for a checkup and hopefully we are done! Oh and I found out what I actually did. I fractured the bone in the top of my foot and I also succeeded in seperating the tendon from my bone which in the process the tendon took a chunk of bone with it...did that make sense? Anyway, hopefully it will be fixed by 3 weeks :) UNTIL THEN. Dad tells me I walk like Frankenstein (THANKS DAD!). It is interesting to watch me walk I am sure :)

So here I am all dressed up with my robot leg! Gotta love that face huh? WHY am I standing my car? Well, because I drove today! With that montrosity on my right foot! I was impressed with myself :-p lol So yeah I was very happy :)


















I got dressed up for mom to take pics for my application to a NTM short terms mission trip to Mexico this summer. And sadly the pitures needed to be basically shoulders and up so after much deliberating Mom narrowed it down to 2 (I hate decisions!) and said she liked them both which really didn't help me! Anyway thought I would share them with ya'll and see what you think. #1 or #2?????


















So, yeah that was my day today :) I just had celery and peanut butter (yum). And I am sitting in an oversized hoodie (I LOVE oversized hoodies) typing this and being very hungry :)
